Pasta in white sauce can be easily made at home and its liked by every one. you can use your choice of veggies in pasta. basil and oregano gives nice flavor to the recipe; instead of it you can use your choice of herbs ( mint, coriander, parsley, etc..).
Ingredients:
PASTA IN WHITE SAUCE |
- Pasta-1cup
- Butter-2tbsp
- Corn flour-2tsp
- Milk-1cup
- Garlic chopped-1tbsp
- Grated cheese -3tbsp
- Dried basil-1tsp
- Oregano-1tsp
- Pepper powder-1tsp
- Thinly chopped onion- 1medium
- Vegetables chopped-¼ cup (carrot, beans, green pea, corn, capsicum)
- Salt-to taste
- Olive oil-1tsp
- Add pasta to the boiled water; cook till done.
- Drain pasta and keep it aside.
- Cook the vegetables with a tablespoon of butter and salt; keep it aside.
- Heat a tablespoon of butter in a pan; sauté garlic.
- Add milk in to it and allow boiling.
- Mix corn flour with a tablespoon of milk and add it in to the pan.
- Stir well to avoid forming lumps.
- When its starts thickening; add basil, oregano, pepper powder and salt.
- Add pasta and vegetables in to it; switch off the flame.
- Serve hot with grated cheese and olive oil on top.
