Mixed Vegetable Pasta

Pasta is an Italian food. Now a days it is found all over the World. Various types of Pasta recipes are Salad, Casserole, Stove top meal etc. You can add any vegetables of your choice. Instead of tomato; tomato puree can be also used.


Ingredients:
  1. Pasta / macaroni-1cup
  2. Onion-1medium
  3. Tomato-2nos
  4. Ginger chopped-1tsp
  5. Cumin seeds-1tsp
  6. Olive oil-1tbsp
  7. Chilly powder-1tsp
  8. Garam masala-1pinch
  9. Salt-to taste
  10. Tomato sauce-1tbsp
  11. Vegetables chopped-1cup
(carrot, green peas, corn, broccoli, bell pepper)
Coriander leaves-to garnish

Preparation:
  • Boil at least 2 litter of water in vessel with a teaspoon of olive oil and enough salt.
  • Add pasta in to the boiling water and cook about 8minutes till done.
  • Sieve the pasta and keep aside.
  • In another pan add remaining oil.
  • Sauté onion and ginger for a minute.
  • Add tomato in to it and sauté till it mashed well.
  • Add chilly powder, garam masala and salt; sauté a while.
  • Add the vegetables; cover the lid and cook about 10 minutes till the vegetables are cooked well.
  • Add tomato sauce and cooked pasta in to it; mix well.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.
