Ney Pathiri / Ney Pathal |
- Rice flour / puttu podi-2cups
- Water-2cups
- Coconut grated-1cup
- Fennel seeds-1tsp
- Black cumin seeds-1tbsp
- Shallots-4nos
- Salt-to taste
- Boil water with salt.
- Add rice flour, black cumin in to it and turn off the stove.
- Add grated coconut, shallots, fennel seed and salt in to it.
- Knead a smooth dough.
- Make small lemon sized balls and flatten it in to a thick round (using a press or fingers).
- Heat oil in a pan; carefully put the pathiri in to it.
- Deep fry on both sides until cooked (just started to get a golden color).
- Serve it with your favorite curry.
