Bread Roll

Bread roll is an easy and tasty tea time snack. You can make this with any of your favorite fillings.

Ingredients:
  1. Bread-10slices
  2. Masala-1cup
  3. Water-2tbsp
  4. Butter-1bsp
For masala:
  1. Chicken boneless-200g
  2. Onion-1
  3. Ginger, garlic, green chilly chopped-1tbsp
  4. Turmeric powder- 1/2tsp.
  5. Pepper powder-1tsp
  6. Coriander powder-1/2 tsp.
  7. Salt-to taste
  8. Garam masala-1/4tsp
  9. Coriander leaves-few
Preparation of masala:
  • Cook the chicken in a pressure cooker with salt, turmeric and water for 3 vessels.
  • Mince the chicken in to small pieces.
  • In a pan heat a teaspoon of oil; sauté onion.
  • Add ginger, garlic, green chilly chopped; sauté till the raw smell goes off.
  • Add all the powders for masala.
  • Add minced chicken and coriander leaves in to it.
Bread Roll Preparation:
  • Cut the edges of the bread slices.
  • With a rolling pin; roll the bread slice as very thin.
  • Put  a thin layer of masala on the bread
  • Roll the bread and seal both edges  by applying water ( don’t put too much masala inside the bread. Take care when rolling the bread and avoid cracking of bread slice. If there is more space inside the bread roll;  you can fill some more masala inside it after rolling.).
  • Heat a pan with a teaspoon of butter; put the bread rolls on top of it.
  • Switch off the flame after getting golden brown color on both sides of the bread roll
