Cauliflower Curry

Cauliflower curry is an easy vegetarian recipe that goes perfectly well with roti and rice. If u need, add potato or matar to the curry along with cauliflower for more added flavor. If you are looking for more cauliflower recipes, then do check  gobi Manchurian and gobi masala .

Cauliflower Curry
Ingredients:
  1. Cauliflower-1 small
  2. Oil-1tbsp
  3. Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
  4. Onion-1
  5. Tomato puree- of 2 small tomatoes
  6. Ginger, garlic paste-1tbsp
  7. Green chilly-2nos
  8. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  9. Kashmiri chilly powder-1tsp
  10. Pepper powder- ½ tsp
  11. Garam masala- ¼ tsp
  12. Salt-to taste
  13. Coriander leaves-few
Preparation:
  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add onion and green chilli, sauté until brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, sauté until raw smell goes off.
  • Add all the powders one by one followed by the tomato puree.
  • Sauté for 5 minutes and add cauliflower pieces.
  • Add ¼ cup of hot water and cook covered for 15 to 20 minutes until cauliflower gets cooked well.
  • Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
