Ingredients:
- Chicken-1kg
- Garlic-2pods full
- Onion-2 big
- Tomato-1big
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Kashmiri Chilly powder-1tsp
- Cumin powder-1tsp
- Coriander powder-2tsp
- Garam masala- ¾ tsp
- Salt- to taste
- Curry leaves-1string
- Oil-2tbsp
- In a large pan; heat oil, sauté crushed garlic well until the raw smell goes off.
- Add curry leaves and onion; sauté for a minute.
- Add turmeric powder, sauté for a minute.
- Add all the other powders one by one; by mixing well in simmer mode (do not burn).
- Add tomato in to it and sauté until it becomes mashy.
- Add the chicken pieces and cover it well with all other masala.
- Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
- Open the lid and if you need to add water, do add little boiled water.
- Cover and cook for another 15 minutes or until the chicken pieces are nicely cooked.
- Serve it hot with roti or rice.
