Serradura or Sawpudding is a simple dessert but super delicious in taste. It is a lovely combination of biscuits and cream. It’s a favorite combination for me and I made few desserts with this combo. These include Biscuitpudding, custard biscuit pudding etc. The biscuit-cashew powder looks like dust and hence the name Sawdust pudding.
Ingredients:
- Thick cream / whipping cream -250ml
- Marie biscuit-10nos (or any plain biscuit)
- Cashew nut- ½ cup
- Milk maid- ¼ cup
- Pistachio-to garnish
- Grind the biscuits and cashew nuts together.
- Mix thick cream with milk maid, mix well.
- In a glass add few teaspoons of biscuit cashew powder as a layer. Make sure it covers the edge and sides of the glass.
- Above that add few teaspoons of cream as another layer.
- In such a way make biscuit and cream layer until it reaches the top of the glass.
- Garnish with grinded pistachios on top.
- Refrigerate 1 hour to set and serve cool.
You can add mixed fruits in to this and serve it as mixed fruit delight.
