Chicken curry is a common delicacy in South Asia. Here is the recipe of Kerala nadan chicken curry, which has a aromatic flavor of all spices along with coconut milk. It is one of the simplest chicken curry recipes that can be cooked within no time.

- Chicken- ½ kg
- Onion-2small
- Tomato-1medium
- Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
- Green chilly-2nos
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Chilly powder- ½ tsp
- Coriander powder-1tsp
- Pepper powder- ½ tsp
- Garam masala- ½ tsp
- Salt- to taste
- Thick coconut milk- ½ cup
- Oil-2tbsp
- Coriander leaves-few
- Curry leaves-1string
- Take a large pan and heat oil, sauté onion till golden.
- Add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and green chilly, sauté till raw smell goes off.
- Add turmeric powder, sauté for a minute.
- Add all the powders one by one in the simmer mode and mix well.
- Add chopped tomato in to it.
- Sauté well until tomatoes are mashed well.
- Add chicken pieces in to it along with salt.
- Cover the lid and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add ½ cup of coconut milk along with a cup of boiled water in the chicken.
- Cook covered for about 20 minutes or until the chicken pieces are cooked well.
- Switch off the flame and sprinkle coriander leaves on top.
- Serve it with roti or rice.
