Mango kheer is a delicious mango dessert that can be made with basmati rice and mango pulp. basmati rice can be replaced with vermicelli or sabudana. Its very easy to prepare and suitable for a hot summer season.

- Mango pulp- of 2 big mangoes
- Basmati rice-1/4 cup
- Milk-4cup
- water-2cup
- Sugar-to taste
- Cardamom powder-1/4tsp
- Pistachio,badam-to garnish
- wash and drain the basmati rice, cook the rice with 2cup of water and 1cup of milk.
- When it becomes cooked well and reaches to absorbs all the water, add the remaining milk and sugar.
- Boil well and when it starts to thicken switch off the flame.
- Let it cools down completely.
- Peel the skin of mangoes and puree the pulp without adding water.
- Add it in to the kheer along with cardamom powder.
- Decorate on top with sliced pistachio and badam.
- Serve chilled.
