Hummus Recipe

 
Making homemade hummus is very easy and it needs few ingredients and less time to prepare.

                            
Ingredients:
  1. Chick peas-1cup
  2. Garlic-2cloves
  3. Lemon juice- 1/4cup
  4. Sesame seeds or thahini seeds- 1/4cup
  5. Olive oil- 1/4cup
  6. Salt-to taste
Preparation:
  • Soak the chick peas in water for overnight.
  • Pressure cooks the chick peas till it is cooked and boil out the excess water (or you can use the extra water for blending hummus).
  • In a blender, add all the ingredients along with chick peas.
  • Make it in to a fine paste.
  • Drizzle the hummus with extra olive oil on top of it.
  • Enjoy it with Roti or Bread.
Note: By skipping the chick peas from this recipe, you will get the thahini sauce recipe.
