Carrot and Almond Laddu


Carrot and almond laddu is a healthy and delicious choice for a quick sweet recipe. We an easily make it with using only few ingredients available at home.
Ingredients:
  1. Carrot-5 large
  2. Almond- 1/2 cup
  3. Ghee-2 tbsp
  4. Sweetened condensed milk- 3/4 tin
  5. Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
Preparation:
  • Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a non-stick pan, add chopped almonds and roast in low flame for a minute.
  • After cools down, put it in a blender and make a fine powder out of it.
  • Peel and grate carrots.
  • In the same pan, heat another tablespoon of ghee and add the grated carrots.
  • Saute for 5-6 minutes until all the water content in it dries off.
  • Add condense milk and almond powder.
  • Mix well and add remaining ghee, saute until it thickens and starts leaving from the sides of the pan (5-7 minutes).
  • Add cardamom powder and switch off the flame; allow to cool little.
  • Make smooth laddu balls using your greased hands, garnish with sliced almond piece and serve!!!!
