Prawns coconut fry is an authentic Kerala style prawns preparation. The marinated prawns are fried along with grated coconut and it goes really well with steamed rice.

- Prawns- 1/4 kg
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder-1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
- Fish masala powder- 1/2 tsp
- Vinegar- 1 tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Grated coconut- 3 tbsp
- Slit green chilly-3 nos
- curry leaves-2 spring
- Oil-for frying
- Marinate cleaned prawns with ingredients from
- Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Shallow fry it in the hot oil.
- When the one side gets cooked, turn in to the other side, at this time add grated coconut, green chilly and curry leaves.
- Fry until the grated gets nice golden in color and the prawns get cooked.
- Mix well and drain in to paper towels to remove excess oil.
