Prawns Coconut Fry

Prawns coconut fry is an authentic Kerala style prawns preparation. The marinated prawns are fried along with grated coconut and it goes really well with steamed rice.
Ingredients:
  1. Prawns- 1/4 kg
  2. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  3. Chilly powder-1 tsp
  4. Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
  5. Fish masala powder- 1/2 tsp
  6. Vinegar- 1 tsp
  7. Salt-to taste
  8. Grated coconut- 3 tbsp
  9. Slit green chilly-3 nos
  10. curry leaves-2 spring
  11. Oil-for frying
Preparation:
  • Marinate cleaned prawns with ingredients from
  • Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  • Shallow fry it in the hot oil.
  • When the one side gets cooked, turn in to the other side, at this time add grated coconut, green chilly and curry leaves.
  • Fry until the grated gets nice golden in color and the prawns get cooked.
  • Mix well and drain in to paper towels to remove excess oil.
