For Cabbage balls:
- Shredded cabbage-1 1/2 cup
- Finely chopped green chilly-1 tsp
- Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
- Salt-little
- Flour / maida- 3 tbsp
- Corn flour- 2 tbsp
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, make round shape balls out of it.
- Heat oil in a pan; fry these balls on medium low flame until nice golden in color.
- Drain in to paper towels and keep aside.
- Oil-2 tbsp
- Chopped garlic- 1 tbsp
- Chopped ginger-1 tbsp
- Chopped green chilly-1 tsp
- Chopped spring onion-2 tbsp
- Chopped onion-1 small
- Soy sauce- 2 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup-2 tbsp
- Chilli Sauce- 1/2 tsp
- Corn Flour- 2 tbsp
- Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
- Salt-little
- Water
- Red food color-a pinch
- Heat oil inn a pan; add sugar, when it gets browned add chopped garlic, ginger and green chilly.
- Saute for two minutes and add chopped onions.
- Saute for about two minutes and add all the sauces.
- Add pepper powder, water and food color. When the water gets boiled add cornflour (by diluting with little water in a paste form).
- Add cabbage balls and salt.
- Cook for about two to three minutes and switch off the flame by sprinkling spring onions on top.
