Squid Tomato Roast

A delicious and easy to follow squid roast recipe with tomatoes!!!
Ingredients:
  1. Squid- ½ kg
  2. Onion-1 large
  3. Tomato-4 big
  4. Ginger garlic crushed -1tbsp
  5. Green chilly-2
  6. Oil-2tbsp
  7. Curry leaves-2 springs
  8. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  9. Kashmiri chilly powder-2tsp
  10. Pepper powder- 1 tsp
  11. Coriander powder-1tsp
  12. Garam masala-½ tsp
Preparation:
  •  Clean the squid and cut it in to small pieces.
  • Pressure cooks it for one whistle along with turmeric powder, salt, 1/2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste and pepper powder (no need to add water, the squid contains lots of water in it).
  • In another pan; add oil and sauté onion until golden in color.
  • Add remaining ginger garlic, green chilly and curry leaves.
  • Sauté until the raw smell goes off.
  • Add all the powders in a low flame and mix well until dark in color.
  • Add chopped tomatoes in to it and saute until all the tomatoes are mashed well.
  • Add cooked squid in to it and cooks until the gravy thickens.
  • Serve hot with roti or rice.
