A delicious and easy to follow squid roast recipe with tomatoes!!!

- Squid- ½ kg
- Onion-1 large
- Tomato-4 big
- Ginger garlic crushed -1tbsp
- Green chilly-2
- Oil-2tbsp
- Curry leaves-2 springs
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Kashmiri chilly powder-2tsp
- Pepper powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder-1tsp
- Garam masala-½ tsp
- Clean the squid and cut it in to small pieces.
- Pressure cooks it for one whistle along with turmeric powder, salt, 1/2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste and pepper powder (no need to add water, the squid contains lots of water in it).
- In another pan; add oil and sauté onion until golden in color.
- Add remaining ginger garlic, green chilly and curry leaves.
- Sauté until the raw smell goes off.
- Add all the powders in a low flame and mix well until dark in color.
- Add chopped tomatoes in to it and saute until all the tomatoes are mashed well.
- Add cooked squid in to it and cooks until the gravy thickens.
- Serve hot with roti or rice.
