Tomato Spaghetti

 Spaghetti is a quick and easy choice for all busy mums. Here is an awesome, crunchy and simple pasta in tomato cheesy sauce.
Ingredients:
  1. Spaghetti-150 gms
  2. Olive oil- 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic chopped-1 tbsp
  4. Dry red chilly flakes- 1 tsp
  5. Onion chopped thinly-1 small
  6. Dried oregano- 1 tsp
  7. Chopped tomato-  2 nos
  8. Tomato ketchup-1 tbsp
  9. Grated cheese- 1 tbsp
  10. Salt-to taste
  11. Thinly chopped cashew nut- 2 tbsp
Preparation:
  • Cook spaghetti in boiling water with little salt for few minutes until cooked.
  • At the same time; Heat olive oil in another pan; add garlic chopped and sauté for a minute.
  • Add chilly flakes and onion chopped; sauté for another one minute.
  • Blend chopped tomato to a coarse puree and add it in the pan.
  • Slow cook for 5-6 minutes until the raw taste of tomato disappears.
  • Add salt, tomato ketchup, oregano and chopped nuts.
  • Add cooked drained spaghetti in to it along with grated cheese.
  • Mix well for a minute and switch off the flame.
  • Serve hot and enjoy the great taste.
Note: Add spaghetti in to the sauce immediately after cooking; don't cook it earlier and keep aside.
