Ingredients:
- pasta- 1 cup
- butter-2 tbsp
- thinly chopped garlic-2 tbsp
- thinly chopped onion-1 small
- thinly chopped beetroot- 3 tbsp
- Cooked beetroot puree- 3 tbsp (cook a small beetroot with little water and salt until tender; blend it after cools down)
- pepper powder-1 tsp
- salt-to taste
- milk- 1/4 cup
- corn flour-2 tsp
- chopped parsley / coriander leaves-1 tsp
- grated cheese-to garnish
- Cook pasta in boiling water by adding salt until cooked.
- Drain it and keep aside.
- Heat butter in a pan; add chopped garlic.
- Add onion chopped and chopped beetroot.
- Saute for five minutes until beetroot get cooked.
- Add beetroot puree,pepper powder and a pinch of salt.
- Add milk in to it and when it starts boiling add cornflour (by diluting with little water or milk).
- Add cooked pasta in to it and cook for about two minutes.
- Mix well and switch off the flame by sprinkling parsley leaves.
- Add grated cheese on top and serve hot !!
