Here is a delicious and creamy chicken chowder soup made with milk, basmati rice, fresh cream and chicken pieces.
Ingredients:- Chicken-250gm (boneless)
- Basmati Rice- 3tbsp
- Pepper powder(white)-1tsp
- Bay leaf-1
- Salt-to taste
- Milk-2 cups
- Fresh cream-2tbsp
- Chopped carrot. 1tbsp
- Chopped spring onion-1tbsp
- Lemon-one half
preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic, saute for a minute.
- Add onion thinly chopped saute for another a minute.
- Add basmati rice and chicken pieces along with a cup of water.2 cups of milk, pepper powder, bay leaf and salt.
- Cook for about 40-45 minutes in low-medium flame until the chicken pieces are cooked tenderly and the basmati rice get cooked and mashed well. (mash the chicken pieces well with a ladle and remove the bay leaf from the soup)
- Add fresh cream in to it when it almost starts to a thickening consistency.
- Mix well and switch off the flame.
- Garnish on top with spring onion and chopped carrots.
- Sprinkle lemon juice on top.
- Serve hot and enjoy!!!
