Chicken Chowder Soup


Here is a delicious and creamy chicken chowder soup made with milk, basmati rice, fresh cream and chicken pieces.
Ingredients:
  1. Chicken-250gm (boneless)
  2. Basmati Rice- 3tbsp
  3. Pepper powder(white)-1tsp
  4. Bay leaf-1
  5. Salt-to taste
  6. Milk-2 cups
  7. Fresh cream-2tbsp
  8. Chopped carrot. 1tbsp
  9. Chopped spring onion-1tbsp
  10. Lemon-one half 
preparation:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic, saute for a minute.
  • Add onion thinly chopped saute for another a minute.
  • Add basmati rice and chicken pieces along with a cup of water.2 cups of milk, pepper powder, bay leaf and salt.
  • Cook for about 40-45 minutes in low-medium flame until the chicken pieces are cooked tenderly and the basmati rice get cooked and mashed well. (mash the chicken pieces well with a ladle and remove the bay leaf from the soup)
  • Add fresh cream in to it when it almost starts to a thickening consistency.
  • Mix well and switch off the flame.
  • Garnish on top with spring onion and chopped carrots.
  • Sprinkle lemon juice on top.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!!!
