Chicken kondattom is a delicious Kerala chicken preparation in which the chicken is coated with a thick batter and fry it. After that do a nice seasoning for it.
Ingredients for marinating the Chicken:- chicken- 1/2 kg (prefer boneless pieces)
- turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
- kashmiri cilly powder- 2 tsp
- ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
- curd- 2 tbsp
- salt-to taste
- flour-1 tbsp
- corn flour-1 tbsp
- Marinate the chicken pieces with all other ingredients. let it rest for at least 2 hours in fridge and deep fry it in hot oil until nicely cooked.
- drain in to paper towels and keep aside.
- minced garlic- 1 tbsp
- dry red chilly- 4 nos
- curry leaves- 3 springs
- coriander leaves chopped- 1 handful
- tomato ketchup-1 tbsp
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil from the chicken fried oil, add minced garlic and saute for a minute.
- Add splitted dry red chill and curry leaves.
- Add tomato ketchup and fried chicken pieces; mix well.
- switch off the flame and add coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with the choice of your roti or rice.
