Easy Pound cake Recipe

Pound cake is a pond of butter, pound of flour pound of sugar and a pound of eggs. It is a basic baker’s choice. We add specific ingredients (lemon zest, orange zest, cream, milk etc.)  to enhance the flavor and taste as per our choice. It has a warm flavor of butter and eggs. For making pound cake make sure that all ingredients are at room temperature

Ingredients:
  1. All purpose flour-1cup
  2. Butter-1/2cup
  3. Sugar crushed-1cup
  4. Egg-3
  5. Vanilla essence-1/2tsp
  6. baking soda-1/2tsp
  7. Salt-a pinch
  8. Sour cream-1cup
  9. Lemon juice with zest-1tbsp
  10. Tutti fruity-  2tbsp
Preparation:
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix tutti fruitty with little flour and sieve the excess flour.
  • In a bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy.
  • Add eggs one by one mixing for a minute after each addition.
  • Add vanilla essence and lemon zest
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add it slowly to the cake batter with a spoon and mix well.
  • Add tutti fruity and give a gentle mix.
  • Microwave it for 40-45 minutes
