Pound cake is a pond of butter, pound of flour pound of sugar and a pound of eggs. It is a basic baker’s choice. We add specific ingredients (lemon zest, orange zest, cream, milk etc.) to enhance the flavor and taste as per our choice. It has a warm flavor of butter and eggs. For making pound cake make sure that all ingredients are at room temperature

- Butter-1/2cup
- Sugar crushed-1cup
- Egg-3
- Vanilla essence-1/2tsp
- baking soda-1/2tsp
- Salt-a pinch
- Sour cream-1cup
- Lemon juice with zest-1tbsp
- Tutti fruity- 2tbsp
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix tutti fruitty with little flour and sieve the excess flour.
- In a bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy.
- Add eggs one by one mixing for a minute after each addition.
- Add vanilla essence and lemon zest
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add it slowly to the cake batter with a spoon and mix well.
- Add tutti fruity and give a gentle mix.
- Microwave it for 40-45 minutes
