- Broken wheat-1cup
- Oil-1tbsp
- Mustard seeds-1tsp
- Red chilly-1
- Curry leaves-1string
- Onion-1
- Ginger chopped-1tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Mixed vegetables-1cup (carrot, beans, green peas)
- Water-1cup
- Coriander leaves-few
- Wash and drain the broken wheat; cook it with 1cup of water and salt in pressure cooker for 1whistle on high flame.
- Add a tsp of oil in hot pan; splutter mustard seeds.
- Add red chilly, curry leaves and onion; Saute for a minute.
- Add chopped ginger, sauté until the raw smell goes off.
- Add vegetables and salt in to it.
- Sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add cooked wheat in to it and mix well until it completely dries off.
- Sprinkle coriander leaves on top of it.
