Beef roast is a traditional Kerala beef preparation served with appam, pathiri, chappathi, and ghee rice.It tastes well, when its spicy. there are many variety of beef roast preparations. here is the recipe of common beef roast.

- Beef- ½ kg
- Onion-2big
- Tomato-1
- Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
- Green chilly-2
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Chilly powder-2tsp
- Garam masala-1tsp
- Coriander powder-1tsp
- Pepper powder-1tsp
- Curry leaves-2string
- Oil-2tbsp
- Coriander leaves-few
- Marinate the beef cubes with ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, ½ tsp of chilly powder/ ½ tsp of pepper powder 1tsp of ginger garlic paste and salt.
- Pressure cooks it with little water until nicely cooked.
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion until golden in color.
- Add curry leaves, green chilly and remaining ginger garlic paste.
- Sauté until raw smell goes off.
- Add all the remaining powders in lopw flame and mix well.
- Add chopped tomato pieces and sauté it until mashed well.
- Add the cooked beef in to it; cook until the gravy thickens and all the water gets absorbed(According to the thickeninig consistency you want).
- Garnish it with coriander leaves on top.
