Ingredients:
- Raw rice/Pachari- ½ cup
- Water-2cup
- Curd- ¾ cup
- Salt-to taste
- Oil-1tbsp
- Mustard seeds-1tsp
- Urad dal-1tsp
- Curry leaves-1string
- Green chilly-1
- Dry red chilly-1
- Asafetida-a pinch
- Wash and drain the raw rice.
- Cook it with 2cups of water in a pressure cooker for 6 whistles in medium-high flame.
- When it ready to open; add curd and salt. (the rice should be mashed well consistency).
- Mix well.
- In a pan; add oil and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add urad dal, curry leaves, green chilly, red chilly and asafetida.
- Add it in to the curd rice.
- Mix well and serve warm with pickle.
