Crispy Instant Rava Dosa


Instant rava dosa is a quick option whenever we crave for a dosa. unlike the other dosa; this recipe does not need to be ferment and hence make within no time. Adding onion, green chilly, ginger, and such ingredients makes it more flavorful. Rava dosa is a combination of rava, rice powder and maida. The chopped ingredients are optional and you can avoid any of them if you don't like its flavor.  Here is the recipe of restaurant style easy crispy rava dosa; do try it and enjoy the crispiness of dosa.

Ingredients:
  1. Rava / semolina- 1cup
  2. Rice flour-1cup
  3. Maida- 1/2 cup
  4. Salt-to taste
  5. pepper powder- 1/2tsp
  6. Cumin seeds-1tsp
  7. coconut grated-1tbsp
  8. Chopped ginger-1tsp
  9. Chopped coriander leves-1tsp
  10. Chopped curry leaves-1tsp
  11. Chopped green chilly-1tsp
  12. Chopped onion-1tbsp
Preparation:
  • Mix everything together with enough more water.
  • The batter should be too thin; like milk consistency.
  • Heat a tawa; when it is hot enough sprinkle the batter on the tawa; so that it spreads all the sides evenly (if you are using your hands to spread the dosa in to tawa ; then it will be more easy to spread.)
  • Don’t pour the batter like normal dosa but spread it like sprinkling everywhere.
  • Sprinkle some oil over dosa; gently scrap it and fold it in to the other side.
  • Serve instantly with chutney (Onion Chutney,Onion Tomato Chutney) or sambar.
