Ingredients:
- All purpose flour (maida) - 1 1/2 cup
- Salt-to taste
- Water -enough to knead a soft dough
- Chicken mince-1 cup
- Chopped Coriander leaves-1 tsp
- Spring onion chopped-2 tbsp
- Chopped ginger-1 tbsp
- Soya sauce-1 tsp
- Mix chicken minced with all other filling ingredients and mix well.
- Mix four with salt in another bowl, add little water, and make a smooth dough out of it.
- Make small equal balls out of the dough.
- Now using a rolling pin; roll the balls in to a small circle of half inch thickness.
- Now add little chicken mince filling at the centre and cover the dough by bringing all the sides to the centre.(so that pleats are appearing on it and stick the edge with your wet hand).
- Steam cook the prepared momos for about 15-20 minutes.
- Serve it hot with the chilly garlic dip..
For the Chilli Garlic Sauce:
- Onion-1
- Garlic-6 small pods
- Tomato-1
- Dry red chilly-4 nos
- Vinegar- 1/2 sp
- Salt-to taste
- Oil-1 tbsp
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan; Add dry red chilly and saute for few seconds.
- Add chopped onions and saute for a minute.
- Add chopped garlic and saute for another a minute.
- Add tomato and saute until mashed well.
- Switch off the flame after cool down blend it along with vinegar and salt in to a smooth chutney consistency..
