Fried Chicken Skewers


Fried chicken skewers are an amazing starter. The crispy bite with chewy inside will loved by every one. You might think that making chicken skewers is hard to do,but it is simple easy to follow the steps and the taste will be guaranteed.
Ingredients:
  1. Chicken boneless- 250 gm
  2. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  3. Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
  4. Salt-to taste
  5. Lemon juice- 1/2 tsp
  6. Garlic paste-1tsp
  7. Thinly chopped green chilly-1 tsp
  8. Coriander leaves chopped-2 tbsp
  9. Onion- 1 medium
  10. Boiled mashed potato-1 large
Other Ingredients:
  1. Corn Flakes-1 cup
  2. Flour (maida)- 3 tbsp
  3. Beaten eggs-2 nos (beat with pinch of salt and pepper) / corn flour+3 tbsp of water
  4. Bamboo skewers
Preparation:
  • Soak the bamboo skewers in water for an hour.
  • Pressure cook chicken pieces by adding turmeric powder, salt, pepper powder, lemon juice , garlic paste and two tablespoons of water for two whistles.
  • Open the lid of cooker only after releases the pressure by itself.
  • Dries out all water content in it by open heating.After that allow to cool completely.
  • Add these cooked chicken pieces in to a blender and mince it to a coarse paste.
  • Mix it well with thinly chopped onion,thinly chopped green chilly, coriander leaves and  mashed potato.
  • Take the soaked skewers and pat it dry.
  • In a wide bowl, took beaten eggs and in another wide bowl crush cornflakes with your hands (to small crunches) and flour; mix well.
  • Now thread the chicken mix on the skewers by using your wet hands.
  • Prepare all the skewers and then dip it in the beaten egg mix.(just to coat, allow to drip off the excess).
  • After that coat it with cornflakes and flour mix.
  • Deep fry it in the hot oil on low-medium flame until nice golden.
  • Drain in to paper towels and serve hot!!!
