Masoob (Malikia) is a popular Arabic dish consumed as a breakfast or even as a snack. It is one of the popular suhoor recipe also. It's a healthy and delicious blend of banana's along with some other ingredients.
Ingredients:
- Banana-3 ripe
- Dates-8 nos
- Bread slices-3 (or 1 kuboos or flat bread )
- Butter-4 tbsp
- Fresh Cream- 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
- Dry fruits and nuts chopped- 1/4 cup
- Honey-2 tbsp
- Strawberry slice-to garnish (optional)
- Blend the bread slice in to crumbs.keep it aside.
- Remove the seed from dates and blend it along with chopped banana's in to a smooth mixture.
- Heat a pan with butter and add the above banana mix in to it.
- Add the bread crumbs also.
- Stir cook for about 5-6 minutes.
- Add thick cream (reserve half part for garnishing) and cardamom powder in to it.
- Mix well and switch off the flame.
- Add in to serving plate; garnish on top with dry fruits and nuts chopped, honey, fresh cream and strawberry slices.
- Enjoy the yummy masoob..!!!
- Note:You can also garnish on top with caramelized bananas.
