Crispy thread chicken is a delicious tea time snack. You can place any of your favorite chicken filling inside the threads. Make these lovely threads for your ifthar and enjoy!!!
Ingredients for Chicken Masala:
- Chicken boneless-200 g
- Onion-1
- Ginger, garlic, green chilly chopped-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp.
- Pepper powder-1 tsp
- Coriander powder-1/2 tsp.
- Salt-to taste
- Garam masala-1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves-few
- Corn flour-1tbsp
- Egg-1
- Salt-a pinch
- Pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
- Samosa sheet-7
- Oil-for frying
Preparation:
- Cook the chicken in a pressure cooker with salt, turmeric and water for 3 vessels.
- Mince the chicken in to small pieces.
- In a pan heat a teaspoon of oil; sauté onion.
- Add ginger, garlic, green chilly chopped; sauté till the raw smell goes off.
- Add all the powders for masala.
- Add minced chicken and coriander leaves in to it.
- Cook whole potato with little salt and turmeric powder in a pressure cooker until cooked soft.
- After cools down peel the skin and mash the potato well without any lumps.
- Mix it with prepared chicken masala.
- Now divide the chicken masala in to medium balls and gently press to make a patty.
- Cut the samosa wraps in to thin threads.
- In a bowl mix, egg, cornflour, salt, pepper powder and a tablespoon of water.
- Took a prepared chicken patty and dip it in the egg mix.
- Then thread it with the samosa wrap threads so that it coated evenly and looks like a thread ball (take four or five threads for a patty depending on its size.).
- Prepare all the chicken threads and deep fry it in the hot oil on medium flame until nice golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy the crispy bites...!!
